Highlights
The Memphremagog MRC shows a gain of 111 jobs during the last year, bringing the total to 5 146 in December 2007. This increase represents in itself 2.2 % from last year.
Throughout
the year 2007, local manufacturing businesses have invested $47 213 189 in fixed
assets.
The number of manufacturing businesses has gone from 177 to 169. This can be attributed to the creation or establishment of 6 new businesses and the shut down or moving out of the MRC of 14 companies.
