The mission
The CLD's mission is to promote the local economic development, foster the creation and expansion of companies through the sponsoring of individual or collective entrepreneurship and provide support actions to all parties involved in socioeconomic endeavors.
The services
The CLD offers an important technical and financial aid through an array of first hand services to help you start, consolidate and develop a business project.
Services such as:
- Consultation, orientation and reference activities;
- Assistance in the achievement of a business plan, including preliminary studies of feasibility;
- Researching financing arrangements;
- Guidance and follow-up on your company;
- Financial assistance;
- Sponsoring of entrepreneurship training;
- Referral to specialized services such as export and technological development.

The annual report
Over the course of the year 2006, the CLD (the local development centre) of the MRC de Memphrémagog was very busy carrying out its many mandates. The year was notable for the significant number of businesses with which the CLD worked and its involvement in several major projects related to the economic development of the region.
