Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) www.cybf.ca

You have a good idea but need help to launch your project? We can help!

The Canadian Youth Business Foundation has been created and is sponsored by the private industry in recognition of the importance of supporting young Canadian entrepreneurs towards their achievements.

Eligibility:

  • Must be aged between 18 and 34;
  • You have contemplated your project thoroughly. Therefore, you will present a business plan with financial forecast;
  • You have the appropriate training and/or the proper education relating to your field of activity;
  • You are committed to work with a mentor to improve your chances of success.

Regardless of your field of activity, you can join the program. You must however, work at it full-time (and not part-time or as a summer job).

Financial aid:

Loans up to $15 000.

The average loan from Young Entrepreneurs is $7 500 to a maximum of $15 000 awarded to eligible businesses. Repayment may stretch over a period of 3 to 5 years, depending on the amount of the loan.

It is important to contact the CLD to know the process of this financial aid.
